Help, What are these?(4/11/08) I came into possession of two pins or badges that I inherited from a relative’s estate. They were acquired in England sometime during World War Two. Any information that anyone may have concerning these would be appreciated.

Patches of the Office of Vice President of the United States(2/25/08) The seal of the vice president was created by Executive Order 10016 on November 10, 1948 and signed by President Harry S Truman. The Executive Order specifies the design and restrictive use of the seal of the president. That design lasted until it was changed in 1975 by Executive Order 11884 signed by President Gerald Ford.

Service Badges of the US Military(1/6/08) Military collectibles are not a specialty of mine, except as they relate to the White House, office of the president or vice president. In the case of military service badges there is some overlap as they relate to White House service, but there is also a larger community developing for the high level service badges awarded to military and civilian defense officials.
