Postmortem Photos (9/13/08)
I grew up in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and the practice of taking postmortem photographs was a normal occurrence. After moving and marrying someone who was raised in a large city I became aware that what I had been taught as a life-affirming practice was viewed as macabre and just plain creepy by many.

I HAVE 3 VERY OLD PORTRIATS OF JEAN HARLOWE WHICH WERE GIVEN TO MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHER BY JEAN HERSELF WHEN SHE WAS A MAID FOR JEAN, MANY, MANY YEARS AGO. tHEY HAVE SINCE BEEN PASSED DOWN TO MY GRANDMOTHER, MOTHER, AND MYSELF. I WOULD NOW LIKE TO SELL THEM BUT NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORTH. THEY ARE ALL 8X10 IN SIZE, AND IN GOOD CONDITION.

Have some original photos of Marilyn Monroe (6/13/08)
Trying to find out if pictures of Marilyn Monroe in Korea for the USO show are vauable. I have her arriving on the helicopter and walking to the changing room also standing on the stage.(it is a series) I was told they were taken by a soldier that was serving at that time.
