Darwin Hoe Type Safety Razor by Edge of the Adi...
I have a beautiful hoe type darwin razor that is stamped made in Sheffield England. I would like to get it valued. I was wondering if you could direct me to a collector or someone who could help me out. The razor was found in an old house that was being remodeled. The previous owner was a prominent business man who owned a merchantile in the 1940's. This piece is the most amazing razor. It is a hoe-type razor in a case that is a sharpener, the end of the razor has a screwdriver in it to install the blades. The case slides back and forth to sharpen the blades on a leather strap.
I really think this is a museum quality piece. I would like to find out as much as I can about the razor. I have attached two pictures for you to review.
Thank you in advance for any help that you can give to me.
WWII Japanese Dragon Tea Set by deb1064
My father in law brought this set back from Japan when he came home from the war. The bottom of the pieces have what appears to be a mountain on the bottom.
It was never used.
I found this set on ebay but it is a newer set. My set has an almost shiny orange on the inside of the pieces.
Does anyone know how much it would be worth?
He also brought back another set. I do not have that set with me.
