George W. Bush Inaugural Medal - Type One

There were two types of official inaugural medals struck for the 2005 inauguration of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The first one that was approved had the above design on the reverse showing an eagle in flight. That was changed only weeks before the inauguration to show a completely different reverse. Several hundred of this first design, since rejected, were sent out to wholesalers before the change and recalled, except about 100 or so were never returned. This is one of them. These will be the collectible inaugural medal in the future. Comes with the original box and inaugural pamphlet.
