COLD STEEL Gurkha "LTC Kukri" Carbon V Kukri Knife **NEW** <> This is the "HEAVY WORKER " of Cold Steel's famous working Kukri line -- the "LTC". This is a large Gurkha-shaped Kukri--a 12-inch blade and an overall length of 17 inches! It is superior for military, field, survival or home defense use. The shape of this model varies a bit from the traditional Nepalese Kukri's made so famous by the Gurkha units that served in British forces that acquitted themselves so well in many theaters of operation worldwide.--with a fuller blade angle to increase its cutting power on vegetation, trees, etc. In history, the Kukri, in the hands of a tough, trained Gurkha soldier, was one of the most feared weapons ever. This Kukri, as mentioned, has a 12-inch Carbon V steel blade, 5-inch handle, and weighs in at a respectable 18.5 ounces -- a little over a pound. This Kukri is quick in the hand, comfortable for extended use, and the shaped Kraton handle provides a sure and slip-proof grip. This Kukri comes with its quality black Cordura sheath with snap fastener. This Kukri is completely new-new-new and unused; no box. [Note: This Kukri is labeled as a Cold Steel "second;" however, aside from small imperfections that caused Cold Steel to label it with a "2" the Kukri is fully functional and meets all performance specifications of a factory first.
