I recently had the opportunity to acquire 12 reliquaries containing 1st Class Relics from a Catholic Priest's estate. They are pictured in the last photograph, but this auction is for only one reliquary. I have decided to keep one for myself {it is not pictured} & I thought it would be best to offer the rest to others. Please note: before you bid, please remember that you are bidding on the reliquary only, the Relic inside is a gift to the high bidder and if you intend to bid, I ask that you give this item the respect it so truly deserves. This altar reliquary measures 5 1/2" high & contains another 1 3/8" diameter metal reliquary. Under the glass is a piece of cloth & two small bits of paper identifying the Saint that the Relic is from, this being St. Anthony of Padua.
