Best Relic Available of St. Peter the Apostle in One of the Grandest Reliquries of All.
Relic is contained in a very fancy filigree gold and silver theca. Theca is housed in a superb altar size reliquary standing 14" tall with the greatest of embellishments.
Reliquary has images of the four evangelists in enamels on each side of the cross. Housing chamber is surrounded by sparkling white clear jewels. Base has four cut red and green
stones surmounted in gorgeous rectangle bezels. The base of the reliquary has fine designs engraved all around the skirt. This is one of the nicest reliquaries for displaying relics available.

Note that the relic is the small dark area in the round or oval theca. The name of the saint is written above or below this area. Most relic particles are pinhead in size and covered with a resin or glue of some sort. Because the particle is so small, and that particle is covered with glue or resin, it is nearly impossible to see with the naked eye what the relic is without looking under a magnifying glass. Furthermore, you are looking at digital pictures that are not the best quality. Most particles look dark, some are light, but most everyone knows this information who are familiar with relics.The relic is cloth. Only the reliquary is for sale, the relic itself is a gift included. However,some are not informed or misinformed about relics, and hopefully this information will help those who are unfamiliar with the actual relic itself.
