JAPANESE VINTAGE SILK SCROLL TIGER "TORA" Listed is a hand painted Japanese silk scroll or "kakejiku" from the early Showa (1926-1950)of a beautiful tiger. The scroll shows its age, but the painting itself is in rather good condition. The painting has only a few stains on it, near the tiger's mouth and in the upper right corner. T is water damage to the scroll on the top and the bottom however. T is damage to the ends of the scroll w it is separating from the hardwood and the top wood support. T are various stains on the silk itself as well as some holes. T appears to have been a repair made on the back.(see photos).
