Frankly we are overrun with these! We purchase small estates of collectors and these invariably come with unsorted Wheat/Indian cents. Most of this hoard came from two sources. The largest (Over 20,000) was from a gentlemen from the Northeast who ran a gum-ball machine route in the 1950's and collected whatever looked interesting to him. This contained a large number of high grade coins about 1950 and newer but also a good spread of dates and Indians. The other is large hoard we purchased in Hawaii which we briefly went through and it contained, as we expected, a high percentage of "S" mint coins. There are many high grade coins from the 1950's especially XF and AU and even BU. We took a random sample of 1,000 out of the pile and it contained each one of the "S" Lincolns from 1940-1954. Many coins dated in the teens and twenties including many mint marked coins. There were also 1909 and Indian Head Cents. We found 1 single memorial cent. There was a higher percentage of mint marked coins than we expected. In our sample we found one or more of the following: 1906, 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1912-D, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1915-S, 1916-D, 1916-S, 1917-D, 1917-S, 1918-D, 1918-S, 1919-D, 1919-S etc. We even found a 1922-D. Why don't we sort them? Frankly we are so busy we simply Do Not Have the Time! I wish we did have the time because
