** This auction is for 2 lbs. of panned Idaho paydirt with a guarantee (1+) gram of gold. DESCRIPTION: Though many of the high country passes are known for their Lewis & Clark travels, Idaho has also seen its own gold rush days. With so many rivers, creeks and springs, its hard not to find a trace of the stuff. Unfortunately, it does take a lot of searching & hard labor to recover what was once exposed surface gold. *This listing is FRESH - OUT OF THE STREAM placer gold. The one photo illustrates my desire to work the rivers this past several weeks, even when t is snow on the ground (as shown in the most recent "ice hole" picture). Straight out of the bedrock crevices and into a pan of classified concentrates. While I will not disclose its location, I have however included an under water photo for which a quartz vein was discovered. When partially removed, it gave off a red discharge to the water and much iron was visible. With a closer inspection, small fines of gold was also present. Still in late December, the surrounding bedrock continues this discharge with wonderful amounts of gold. Glimpses from my sluice and pan samples prove this to be a productive hole. This find and what gold I have collected within my concentrates, are what is listed in this auction. All pieces are of flake or fine texture and glisten only the way Mother Nature produced it years ago. I wish to share with you the same thrill & excitement of finding that rich golden color in a pan, as I did (except you may do this within the comforts of your own home and not in a stream). What makes these concentrates better than most is that it comes from the "Gem" State. In this paydirt you will find numerous clear quartz, much magnetite, hematite, and rich heavy black sand. You will also find the rare small *established garnets & early stage mineral garnets in this batch. I say rare because garnets are like gold - they do not exist just anyw but are in concentrated pocket areas only. As seen in the last photos, these round mineral hard rock substances come with a purple color and are heavy for their size. These are the early stages of garnets. Now, I can't tell you how many times a look through my rocks but after so many millions, you tend to believe they are just that - Rocks. This one nearly was thrown away like all the rest. What I am trying to say is this: You will find excellent gold in this concentrated 2 lbs. of paydirt. You will also find more ruby glass colored garnets - besides the 1/2 gram that this listing provides in the provided vial.
