1/6 daguerreotype of lady IDâe(tm)edas Sara Von Seliack Ramsey mother of Joseph Henry Ramsey born 1799. Id found on paper with early writing in pencil in back of image. The matt is typical of the Langenheim Brothers out of Philadelphia who set up shop around 1843. She is housed in a full case with split spine. Image is in good shape with two spots that look much worse on the scan than when you are looking at the image. Good depth and contrast. No scratches or brush marks, tarnish around matt edge.
