This really is an outstanding condition compact Petzval type lens and here are the details:- the glass is extremely clear and bright, scarcely any signs of past cleaning and free of all defects; 'image wise', this is not one of 'the cheaper style' Petzvals which display significant signs of 'swirl' but one which is slightly sharp in the centre and then a little softer towards the edges; the rack and pinion movements work perfectly; both ends have an approx width of 54mm; the length is 88mm; the brass on the barrel is in a great state, clear and bright and very good; and the flange is comprised of a standard Taylor, Taylor & Hobson flange mounted on to an older style chrome ring, with inner and outer widths of 56 and 92mm My items are sent tracked and insured.
