's some feedback we just received from a recent customer:
Hi Bryan,
I took 8 of the yogo roughs I bought from you over the past couple years down to the Yogo store in Great Falls to be cut today. Once again, they were shocked to see how nice they were. The gentleman that runs the store could not believe you let them out of your sight! I will let you know how the cuts turn out! LOL, Amy
's the follow-up story:
I got the 8 yogo's back that I sent to have cut and I wanted to let you know how they turned out. I got 2 .49 ct ovals that match, a .47 tear drop, a .44 marquise, a .37 tear drop, a .30 round, and two .18 rounds. They turned out just beautiful, and should make some very nice Christmas presents for family this year. Once again, the Yogo Sapphire Co. in Great Falls thought they were very nice roughs!!!! If I ever figure out how to photograph them properly with my digital camera, I will send you pictures. The pictures I took of the first 3 I bought from you just did not do them justice! Thanks again, and all my best to you and your family this Christmas!
These were recovered from the sluices that were used to wash down the vein materials. Yes, these are TRUE YOGOS from Montana, USA. We purchased them directly from the owner, Herman Yaras , back in the 1970's and they had been gatd from the English mine on the east side of the Yogo River. In fact, we're even still in touch with Yaras' family to this day.
