tHt is a super desirable example of a fine London blue topaz in a gorgeous cluster ring surrounded by large chunky diamonds. This is a super interesting old antique piece from the British India estate from overseas, it is a remarkable traditional Moghul ring with very interesting rose cut diamonds and seven carat fancy cut London blue topaz in the center as the focal point. No one has anything like this, not your local jewelry store, not the mall or pawn shops. These rustic pieces come from a very interesting source and I have been liquidating this gentelmans collection for over 4 years now on Ebay and now I am getting to the very interesting items that have been locked in a vault for decades. Celebrities have always set fashion trends and many have been buying the old rustic pieces like these especially these items with the real stones and gold. This is a real red carpet ring featuring emerald and diamonds set into a square cluster shape. The ring contains 7 carats of genuine blue topaz that is graded at "AAA" gem grade bezel set into a 14 yellow gold bezel for a fabulous contrast. This awesome ring has a classic marquise shape and is loaded with large foil backed diamonds as well as smaller accent diamonds for a stunning display of fine stones. The London blue topaz has the most intense blue color in all the topaz, its really one of my favorites. This pear shaped topaz has a fancy cut with lots of extra faceting that really makes it radiate flickers of blue flames when subject to the light, it also has no inclusions and it really shows in the pictures. T are 62 old European cut diamonds set into patterns of open work inbetween the larger stones, they are .02cts to .03 cts each for a total of 1.4 carats. The remarkable aspect of this piece are the four larger foil backed diamonds set on each side of the topaz, these diamonds are set into sterling silver for a rich 2-tone look. The four range in size from .40 carats to .60 carats for 1.85 carats in just these four diamonds, they also have a grading of "H-I" color and 'I1' clarity which means that 2 of them are very clean with a higher grading and the other two have some very small inclusions which you may be able to see if looking for them however they are mostly white and clean like the pictures show them to be. The ring shank is made of solid 14k yellow gold with a "Y" shape before the head with accent diamonds set in the center. All of the diamonds add up to 3.25 carats together including the accent diamonds as well as the larger diamonds. If you are a gemstone lover then you will love to have this in your collection. This was made to impress others in the social ladder of Hindu-India. All of the stones are 10.25 carats together, no excuses at all. The head of the ring measures 44 mm long and 25mm wide so it takes up most of your finger. The ring weighs 11.7 grams of solid 14k gold, silver and is a size 8.
