I've decided to put up a batch of unused NOS coin-op arcade CPOs (control panel overlays) and two marquee overlays for auction as a group . Control panel overlays included in this auction are: Stargate (NOS original Williams) Stargate (awesome FabFan repro) Robotron (awesome FabFan repro) Joust (NOS original Williams) Joust (NOS rare original prototype with circular joystick holes) Vanguard (NOS original Centuri) Victory (NOS original Exidy) Zaxxon (NOS original Sega) Tempest (NOS original Atari, damaged) Asteroids (I believe this is NOS original Atari, but I am not 100% certain as I have never owned an Asteroids machine) Also included are two NOS original Atari Tempest marquee overlays (damaged). These overlays have been in my possession for 12-15 years, all stored flat during that time . This is a great opportunity to get an amazing set of overlays at a great group price! No reserve! My intention is to ship the overlays flat, securely in a large flat box, by USPS Priority Mail in the US ($24). I am willing to ship internationally as well, at buyer's cost (cost depends on buyer's location, but I will simply charge exact postal cost, no extra fees!). Detailed descriptions of each overlay below. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Thank you for your attention! Details: Stargate (NOS original Williams): Very nice. A little light surface scuffing or residue in just a few spots (not extensive). Bottom L corner (1.5 x 1.75") has peeled off backing (will need adhesive). 3 or 4 mild surface crinks (1" or less), should come out when applied. Stargate (awesome FabFan repro): almost flawless. One 5mm blue mark on bottom right (would not be visible when installed) Robotron (awesome FabFan repro): looks flawless. Joust (NOS original Williams): Very nice condition. Very little surface residue or scuffing - minimal amount. I do see however what looks like a hairline cut (1.5-2" long) in the yellow-red border (1" below player #2 'move' button) - I believe it goes through the overlay material, though honestly it is a little hard for me to tell, b/c it is so thin. Joust (NOS rare original prototype with circular holes for 49-way joysticks): excellent condition. Some light dirt/residue in a few places, nothing major. Vanguard (NOS original Centuri): Excellent condition. Graphics emmaculate. Three spots of mild surface bends/creasing (all 1" or less) - right edge, lower L edge, and bottom edge (last one is particularly mild). None should be an issue if applied. Victory (NOS original Exidy): Graphics in bright excellent condition, but there is some creasing in the overlay: bottom R corner (3x2") (including a thin tear) is the most severe; bottom L corner (0.5x1"); top edge (4"); mild one on lower L edge (1.5") some might not be an issue after application. A labelled strip of scotch tape (6 x 0.75") is present, which i have not tried to remove. Zaxxon (NOS original Sega): excellent condition. Tempest (NOS original Atari, damaged): Perfect condition, except… cut in 'half'! The lower half (below bend) has been cut off, leaving graphical top intact. But also a 2&7/16x1/4" rectangle cut out of new 'bottom edge' [with scissors/knife cut extended slightly (about a half-centimeter) on two of those rectangle edges. Dimensions are 23&5/8 x 13&1/8" (WxH) Asteroids (I believe this is NOS original Atari, but I am not 100% certain as I have never owned an Asteroids machine): looks flawless. Tempest marquee overlay #1: Complete, shiny, but has been roughed-up a bit. 3 gouges in lower center (largest is 0.5 cm). A variety of partial bends/crinks/creases through-out, mostly in black border regions (graphics themselves look pretty good actually). Some light surface scratchings in black areas. Tempest marquee overlay #2: Shame - most of overlay and graphics are in nice condition - but the overlay got roughed-up at some point. There is a large tear/gouge in lower portion, up until bottom of word "tempest", among other flaws. read more
