10 Real Egg Shell Ornaments from Austria These are beautiful beyond description. The color and detail are breath taking. If your looking for that unique Heirloom gift this is the item for you. All the shells are flawless. They look vintage to me, but the cartons are in great shape. Each egg is unique and not the same since they are handpainted. The eggs are painted to look like stainglass with one side having pictures of a Nativity scene. Each one slightly different with Wiseman, angels, Mary, Baby Jesus and Joseph. They maybe chicken eggs, because goose eggs tend to be bigger.
