It is a real pleasure for me to offer a piece of cast iron for auction that is in excellent condition such as this # 10 Griswold Handle Griddle. This appears to have been used very sparingly. The polishing circles are very evident on the cooking surface and t are only a couple of prick marks from a fork. No scratches and certainly not any cracks, rust, pitting, or repairs. It sits very flat. This pan measures 12" in diameter and weighs 5 1/2 pounds. This is the largest handle griddle that Griswold ever made. This beauty was produced sometime between 1925 and 1940. The cooking surface is spotless and the bottom has all the markings including the large block Griswold logo that displays so well. If that weren't enough, I am including a copy of an Aunt Ellen Griddle Ad that appeared in the September 1926 Women's Home Companion magazine.
