I found this lapel pin, and had no idea what it was. So, I contacted the Boeing Archives and Museum. What I have , is a 1960's Quality Control pin. The Boeing emblem is clearly marked, with the year 1916 atop of the wingspan. This is the year Boeing was started. The ZD stands for Zero Defects. This pin was awarded to those involved with Boeing. A small Ruby is at the point of the pin. The pin is 10KT gold.Total length is 5/8". This item will be coming from Delaware. So please allow shipping time if you live 20 states away!
