The lot includes: an American Sterling tablespoon that measures 7" long by 1 1/2" wide, a pair of sterling open salt dips that measure 1/2" tall by 1 1/4" wide, a pair of sterling salt spoons that are 2" long by 1/2" wide, a pair of grape shears with sterling handles that is 6 1/2" long by 2 3/4" wide, an English sterling dagger shaped letter opener that is 9 1/4" long by 2 3/4" wide, a sterling hand mirror that is 11 3/4" long by 4 3/4" wide, a sterling dish that is just over 5 1/2" in diameter, and a silver plated tea strainer that is 5 3/4" long by 2 1/8" wide. The tablespoon is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling". The mark dates this as being made between 1868-1890. Both open salt dips and salt spoons have the "Webster & Co." mark of a "WC" with an arrow through them. They are also marked "Sterling". The grape shears are marked "Hoffritz" on the hinge and "Sterling" on the handles. The dagger letter opener has English hallmarks of : Rampant lion signifying sterling, anchor showing this as being made in Birmingham, date mark of the letter "N", and maker's mark of "JS". The mirror is marked "Sterling RB 3400 Patented". The dish is marked "Christople" with several hallmarks. The tea strainer is marked "Kingsway Plate E.P.N.S. A1 England 6866 Patent No. 233144.
