is an opportunity to bid, WITHOUT RESERVE, on 10 very early CARD CO SEED LETTUCE(May King variety)PACKETS which date back to the 1910-1915 period. As you can see from the scans, these beautiful, unused packets, each measuring Approx.3" x 4 3/4", are in very good to excellent condition. Part of a warehouse find from the mid 1900s in western New York State, they are wonderful examples of the colorful lithographic advertising art of this era. This is a rarely offered packet. The Card Seed Company was located in Fredonia, N.Y., and the packet printing was done by the Dunston Co., of Dunkirk, N.Y. The scans do not do the packets justice. The images are crisp and vibrant. A wonderful addition for the seed packet collection, or unique decorative items matted and framed for the "country kitchen". Winning bidder has a choice of USPS Priority Mail shipping ($4.60) or USPS Fiorst Class Mail (2.50). International bidding on this item by prior agreement only please. Insurance always highly recommended, but optional. Uninsured shipments at the risk of the buyer. Please view our other auctions to combine bids and save on shipping. Extra care always taken with packaging. Please check our feedback and bid with complete confidence.
