LARGE VINTAGE DEPRESSION - ERA HOOSIER / SELLERS COFFEE JAR is in very good condition, & a rather rare size. Crystal glass jar measures 10" high x 5-3/4" diameter at base, it has all-around vertical panels, it's embossed COFFEE on front. Original metal lid is tarnished, some of the original gold color can be seen under the tarnish, t is no rust, lid has narrow ribs on side edge. Jar is clean and clear, t is no fogginess. T are some short surface scratches, and a bit of dulling along bottom base edge, w jar would rest on a hard surface. T are a couple of very tiny flakes on the panel edges, and a few factory bubbles in the glass, which is typical. T are no cracks. T is some roughness and flat chips on top grooves, w lid screws onto jar, and several tiny flakes on inside top edge. None of these detract from this fab old jar, jar is strong. Jar is very big, I've never seen a Hoosier straight-side panelled jar as large as this one. It looks like it would hold a 3 lb bag of coffee. A very nice old jar to use or display. NO RESERVE.
