This is a dead-eye reproduction of Ben Wade's (Russell Crowe) sidearm in the film 3:10 TO YUMA. Called "The Hand of God," it is built on a 4 3/4" barrel 1873 colt with a "case hardened" finish that gives the frame that cool, actively colored "pooling" you see with the blues and the golds. This is a "dry-fire" version made for stunt and training purposes and cannot be made to fire anything, but the hammer cocks, the cylinder rotates, the loading port opens and the trigger pulls, all just like the real thing. It is all metal with real cherry grips painted black and custom-fitted to the frame with gold alloy replicas of the crosses you see on Wade's weapon in the film. The grips are made by a professional western grip-maker and cost over $300 alone. The base pistol is made by EMF/Great Western Dry fire.
The 3rd photo (with the playing cards and the holster) is not of my piece, but rather a photo of the screen-used pistol. The 4th photo is a still from the film. Photos 1 and 2 (white background) are of my replica.
Ebay: THIS IS NOT A REAL FIREARM AND CANNOT BE MADE TO DO ANYTHING DANGEROUS . It is a non-funcitoning replica only with a blaze-orange plug in the barrel.
