Item info: This auction offers a grade 9 notched triangle point identified as Cahokia and being found in Madison Co, Ill. It measures 1-3/4 x 15/16 x a little under 3/16 inch(es). T is some clear material that I assume is glue on one side. I have not tried to remove it. The writing was on the point when we acquired it. T is no old or new damage on the piece. We obtained this artifact legally and it is not known to be illegally dug nor grave or ceremony associated.

Jeff Baker has evaluated this point and the certificate stating it is authentic will be supplied to the winning bidder. The certificate alone cost $15 not including the cost of shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation. Mr. Baker's evaluations are accepted by the AACA and the IAGA. Having gone to the trouble and expense of getting this item papered and I am not the least bit interested in being involved in authenticator differences of opinion so if Mr. Baker's certificate isn't suitable please don't bid. As far as I'm concerned the door is closed on any authenticity issues with this point.
