More than 700 dedicated Harley-Davidson riders brought their journey to an end Saturday, June 2 after traveling across 26 continental states, covering 3,005 miles in just 15 days to Harley-Davidson's ™ home-town. The Posse Ride: Lower 48-Eastern Campaign memorable journey completes the second half of a two-part, cross-country expedition started last year by Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). H.O.G. Posse Ride: Lower 48-Western Campaign covered 22 of the 48 continental states west of the Mississippi River. This year, the Eastern Campaign covered the remaining 26 continental states east of the Mississippi River, racking up more than 7,600 total miles for the two-part adventure. The 2005 journey began in Mobile, Ala., on June 18. All participants in the Posse Ride were H.O.G members and came from eight countries and 44 states.
