Up for auction is a Aluminum 100 Mark German Notgeld Inflation Coin, dated 1923. This Aluminum 100 Mark Coin is from the Province of WESTPHALIA in Germany. This is one of the many coins of the inflation period 1921 to 1923. Mintage for this piece was 95,449.(Picture #4) shows the edge of the coin, which is smooth.The 100 Mark coin is Circulated Condition. Showing an even wear on both sides. It still shows evidence of a Mirror Like Surface. It is not uncommon for the Aluminum Coins to show varying degrees of pitting. T is a very nice and even Patina on this coin.(Picture #1 & #2) shows the Famous Westphalia Horse along with the date 1923.
