100% Original WWII Rifle Sling for K98 Mauser - "L&F

For sale is a nice rifle sling for the German K98 Mauser. The sling is 100% complete and original with all hardware and is completely unaltered since WWII. All seems are complete and original WWII vintage. The leather has the distinct and desirable "cross-hatch" pattern clearly visible. This sling has clearly been used and only has some very minor stretching and very small surface cracks expected from a rifle sling having gone through a World War. The leather piece on back side of buckle is in place. So is the leather slider. The buckle is properly marked "L&F". Otherwise no visible stampings on this sling. For sake of good order, this sling is NOT to be confused with post war reproductions or post war altered ones flooding the market. Nor is it to be confused with Israeli, Czeck or other post war manufactured slings. It is GUARANTEED 100% original and produced before 8th May 1945. I have done some further research, and found the maker mark "L&F" in the steel buckle to stand for the company "Linden & Funke GmbH." which is located in Iserlohn, Germany.
