2500 bundle of Iraqi Dinar You are bidding on a packet of 2500 in old Iraqi Dinar. My boyfriend brought this back from Baghdad in early 2003. This currency is out of circulation and no longer in print. From the research I have done, this is the 1986 SWISS-issued P-73 bank note with Saddam Hussein in military dress uniform. T are 100 x 25 dinar notes, all circulated and in varying degree of age and condition. Some are darker and wrinkled, while others are almost mint with just the odd bank notation in pen. Originally banded by the USA at currency collection points in Iraq. These have been left in the sun so they no longer smell, but if you stick your nose right in them they do smell like older money.
