Turn of the century cigar store indian. This is not a replica or reproduction. This indian has been in my family for over 30 years. It was purchased at auction in Philadelphia in 1975. Standing at 6' tall and over 150 lbs, it is carved entirely from one log. The paint is in great shape for it's age and is still vibrant. The wood has split at the wrist, chest and base area. It has always been that way for as long as I can remember, and in my opinion enhances the character of the piece. I would often place long handled matches in the wooden box in the left palm. The sculpture is balanced well and stands firm on hard flooring or carpet.This is a "pick-up only" item of course, but I am flexible to work with you on any shipping you would like to arrange.
