100 Years of Michigan Football 1879-1979 Title : 100 Years of Michigan Football 1879-1979 Publisher-Date : Robert Bauer, 1979 Description : This hard to find 8-1/2" by 11" 157-page softcover publication, all on slick paper, was produced to celebrate the centennial of University of Michigan Wolverine football. The color cover features artwork depicting the school's All-Time Team to that point as chosen by a poll of alumni and friends. Profusely illustrated with black and white photos dating from the early years up through the 1979 Rose Bowl. Includes photos and brief bios on many of the team's top players over the years, game action shots, aerial photos of the campus and stadium, and a two-page drawing of Ann Arbor, Mich., done in 1880. A must-have collectible for the Wolverine fan. Condition of Book : Very Good. Cover shows some edge and surface rubbing. Interior is clean with no marks or damage and the entire book is very tight to the binding. Seems like old store stock that has been stored for the past 35 years! Condition of Dust Jacket : N/A.
