Up for bid is a lot of 4 Uncirculated rare vintage original $1000.00 Gold Bonds from The Albany & Susquehanna Railroad Company of Manhattan, New York. The Railroad Co. was assumed by The Delaware and Hudson Corporation. This First Mortgage Gold Bond certificates are dated April 1, 1946 and are numbered # 1313, 1314, 1315 & 1326 and have 48 coupons worth $13.75 each, that were redeemable over the course of 24 years. Please note: There are 3 coupons that have been excised from the bond. This is the way the Bonds were issued. The Bonds are in nice condition.
