At auction is clockwork set American Flyer cataloged as #105 in about 1918. The couplers are type 4a and 4b. The car frames are the 1917 type with slot and square tab. The B&O box car looks like the roof was repainted. The caboose roof has a spot of paint loss. (see pics) The coal tender has its original coal pile. The engine motor runs strongly with a working brake. The wheels are cast iron which is proper for the era of the items being offered in this auction. The engine is missing the side rods. The engine does not have a key. It is every seller’s responsibility to bid according to their opinion of the condition. Never assume anything about the item(s) in this auction.
