An amazing set of 108 unpublished Kodak film photo proofs from a September 17, 1960 Senator John F. Kennedy for President large rally and speech at the Highpoint Airport in Greensboro, Forsyth County, North Carolina (please see the description of the photos below). Also included is a 7 x 9 print of one of the 108 photos showing a smiling Senator John F. Kennedy looking straight into the camera shortly after getting off the plane with a crowd of people around him and the American Airlines airplane in the background. These photos were taken during the height of the Presidential campaign, about six or seven weeks before Kennedy was elected President. Over 40 of the photos are candid probably never seen before photos of Senator John F. Kennedy on the Presidential campaign trail. Rarely do this many unpublished photos of President Kennedy show up and no doubt this is a very scarce if not rare set of 1960 John F, Kennedy campaign photos. The photos show Kennedy supporters holding signs that state "FORSYTH FOR KENNEDY AND JOHNSON" and "FORSYTH DEMOCRATS ALL THE WAY". The back of one of the proofs has a pencil notation stating "SEPTEMBER 17, 1960 GREENBORO - HIGHPOINT AIRPORT ". The rally was held in Forsyth County North Carolina . The photographer took a range of photos of before and during the Kennedy rally giving a flavor of the excitement and people involved and the event itself. The 108 candid unpublished photos have a huge range of images including people organizing the rally, lines of cars waiting to park, Kennedy supports holding Kennedy signs out of the car windows, one Kennedy supporter or worker that was setting up the event is seen picking up one of the well known Kennedy for President campaign hats that had fallen on the ground, the empty podium before Senator Kennedy arrived, A musical band (college or high school) playing at Kennedy's arrival with girl cheer leaders performing, photos of Kennedy arriving and being meet by a large number of supporters and dignitaries, Kennedy speaking on the podium with a large Kennedy for President photo sign above and behind him, supporters wearing Kennedy campaign hats, local County Sheriff's Deputies with their shoulder patch clearly visible protecting Senator Kennedy in the crowd, and images of the large crowd sitting during Kennedy's speech, etc., etc. T are three photo proof sheets with 36 photos on each sheet. The proof sheets are each 10 x 8 inches in size and have a little waviness on a couple of ends but overall actually look very nice. The 7 x 9 photo of President Kennedy looking into the camera is also in very nice condition. Please see the other vintage items that I have listed on eBay. The buyer pays postage. Payment by Check, money order or PayPal is OK. Thank for looking.
