Up for auction is a 1963 High School Graduation Ring composed of 10K solid gold. It was a woman's ring, size 7.5 (very close to a size 8, but with my charts, I feel it is closer to the 7.5). The ring is yellow gold, weighs 7.2 grams and has a red center stone. I am not sure what the stone is composed of. The center stone has the initials S.J.V.A. These initials stand for Saint John Villa Academy, which is a girl's high school in Staten Island, New York. Inside the band are the initials CTJ and the marking of 10 KARAT. There is also, which I believe to be the maker's mark, DEGESS CLUST engraved into the inner band (At least that is what I read it to be with my loop). The band is in very good condition and was tested/passed with 10K acid to verify purity. Listing this as scrap, but that is the buyer's discretion. Melt on this ring has a value of around $110, I will start the auction off at $49.99. Any questions, please ask. Winning bidder, please pay within 48 hours of auction's end. Thanks for looking.
