Beautiful piece of chatoyant GEM QUALITY MALACHITE ROUGH FROM THE CONGO . Perfect to slab into many slabs and make some wonderful cabs.Wonderful piece to make a gorgeous sp Or perhaps a perfect piece to carve or use to make some wonderful boxes,inlays etc. The dimensions are kind of hard as its not perfectly square the shortest corner is 1" the rest is approx 3"x 3 1/2" x 3" and aprox 11" long its slightly under 10 lbs my scale maxed at 10Lbs and its reading 10Lbs so I know its close Illthrough a small piece of trim material in to make it fair. t are a few visible fractures but don't look bad and can be worked around other thanthat I believe the rest is solid. I Still have 10 lbs or so of the same and it was all solid I would expect the same from this piece but you never knowas it is a rock and I cant guarantee whats inside.T is almost no matrix or waist whatsoever .the pictures w taken both wet and dry.
