This is part of my Mother's collection of Native American pottery. T are 11 pieces in this sale, all of which I believe to be in excellent condition. By this, I mean, no cracks, no chips. Exteriors all look great. The interiors of some of them have smudges. I do not know how to clean this type of pottery (earthenware?), so I am not going to try. I understand water is not good for it. That said, these sat on a shelf in the den, and were not used (to my knowledge) for anything other than display. To be safe, I will say, as is, very good vintage condition. These pieces of pottery range from the tallest at 5" to the smallest at a bit under 2". The artwork ranges in intricacy, and some are very thin walled, while the larger wedding vase and 2 of the lager pots have some weight to them. I wish I were more versed on the standards of this type of pottery, so if you ARE, please feel free to ask anything. This is a ready made collection, I think you will be pleased. Age? I have no idea. My aunt lived in New Mexico, and my Mom traveled t, at least once a year from the 60's until 2000. One of the pots is dated '87. However, I doubt all these were purchased at the same time, as my Mom never passed a store selling any kind of pottery without stopping.
