Dear Bluebird China Lovers! This is a NO RESERVE auction! Up for your bidding pleasure are **11** as close-to-perfect Homer Laughlin Bluebird China Bowls as you will ever find on ebay! T are NO chips and NO cracks and NO staining on a single one of these eleven beauties. T is, of course, the classically beautiful craquelure - or crazing - that accompanies antique china close to 100 years old. The ceramic is still whitey-white without discoloration. The gold trim around the edge is worn with the cares of time but still t with all its delicate grace. These are simply gorgeous bowls. If you are a bluebird china lover like me, don't let them get away! T are a few manufacturing imperfections to note - an extra drop of glaze or t, a tiny bump of clay under the surface, a mark of glazing color on the back. But I've run my finger around the edge of each bowl and find *absolutely* no nicks, cracks, or chips. These bowls were manufactured in about the 1920s - maybe earlier. Some of the marks on the back are legible, others are not, but I have photographed the back of one so you can see the mark. These bowls have been kept in pristine condition for nearly a century. Someone loved them dearly for a very long time. It is now time to pass these beauties on to you. T are 3 cereal bowls, about 7" across, and 8 soup bowls, about 8.5" across. They are all about 1.5" high. T are 3 decals per bowl with the little bluebirds ensconced in delicate tracery. They are beautiful! Guarantee!! I guarantee all my sales on ebay. I will refund 100% of your purchase price, including shipping , if you are not completely satisified. While I have never had a single person return a single item, I offer you this assurance nonetheless to let you know I am a person of my word, an honest ebayer, and a person of integrity. Please do note, however, that these specific pieces are coming up on 100 years old! While the transfers - or decals - are still bright and clear for the most part, t is, of course, some wearing-away of the decals in places which is only to be expected. Bid accordingly!! The bowls do NOT have staining - and I find that amazing!! I AM MOVING! While I thought I could take every treasure I own, I simply cannot - so my loss is your gain! Shipping: I charge you precisely what it costs me to ship. No padding...no making a quick buck at the back end of the auction like some ebayers do. When I have your zip code, I can then let you know the cost of shipping. I will double box your bowls with bubble wrap and peanuts. I would predict the cost to ship these bowls to be around $20, including insurance , but whatever the cost of shipping is, it will be accurate and honest. It might be a dollar or two more. But please know that I do not seek to make money on shipping! I ship USPS Priority Mail. Contact: I will contact you within a short time after the auction. Please contact me within 72 hours of the close. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email. Sincerely, Mrs. Peapod
