Up for auction is a lot of 11 different postcards from the early 1900s, all sending greetings - "Gruss Aus..." from places in Germany. All of the cards have some damage, as noted Places include Hollenthal (right side is cut off a little, corner creases, almost all the design is present); Harburg (some heavy stains from ink on the address side that soaked through); Elsenborn (some of the image has worn away lower left corner, plus stain at the top); Wilhelmshaven (big crease lower left corner, small stains and tears at the top, but the image is pretty nice); Eisenbach (the left side has been cut off a little, but the image is in nice shape); Anholt (the left and right sides have been cut off a little, but the image is still quite nice); Rheinfall (very colorful image, but the edges have some dark stain, no creases or tears); Kevelaer (the card has been folded, a vertical crease through the middle, otherwise the card is noce); Crone (the bottom has been torn, corners are creased); Berlin at Nacht (the corners have been torn off some, but the image is very colorful); and Wachenbuchen (t is tape around the edges and some paper covering some of the writing in the lower right corner). Interesting lot - too bad they have damage, but some of these are hard to find and maybe good fillers until new ones are found. Buyer pays $2.50 shipping and handling in the US, $4.00 elsew
