Up for auction is a highly sculptured, metal clad statue of a firefighter in uniform. This dignified, well made figurine would make a tasteful memorial, honoring any fallen firefighter. It would also make a perfect award for outstanding service, for an engraved plaque could be affixed to the front of the base. To the best of my knowledge, this handcrafted, cold cast resin figurine, which is electroplated in an antique brass finish, is made by Vanmark. It's quite heavy, weighing a whopping 4 pounds, 1.4 ounces. The fireman stands 7 1/2 inches tall; the entire statue is just over 10 inches tall. This is NOT a poorly made, cheap knick-knac. This solid memento is a quality piece that should complement well any room and fine decor. It has no chips, cracks, dings, or flea bites that I can see. I've seen it retail for as much as $122, so this is a great price even when you add the cost of shipping. Keep in mind that it is very heavy, so shipping will be higher than usual. However, if my estimate is high, I'll refund any amount in excess of $1 that I overcharged. The base is solid black marble with white striations. If you're not happy, I'm not happy. So, I encourage you to ask any and all questions about this item before bidding. All inquiries are welcomed. I check messages several times a day so should respond promptly. This read more
