11" petite German bisque doll with bll jointed composition body jointed at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Original human hair wig. Clear blue, sleep eyes with open mouth and two teeth showing. Painted eyelashes all around the eye socket with red dot tear ducts. Feathered brows. Rosy cheeks and lips. Incised on the back of the head MADE IN GERMANY. The head seems solid but, the seam on the right side of the head is more visible than on the other. There is also a light scratch, possibly a hairline on her head. This line is NOT visible on the inside of her head and is barely visible when a light is shown into her head. The seam lines on either side of her head are more visible. There is a pinpoint dot on her chin. The thumb is missing from her right hand. Wig is torn and thin and the plaster underside is cracked. Body could use a cleaning, but solid. Stringing is loose. The paint is missing from her eyelids when her eyes are closed. Eyes are beautiful when open. She is wearing a old silk blouse with 7 buttons and ruffles down the front. Closes with two snaps under the buttons. Blouse needs cleaning. No holes but ruffled edge on the blouse is fraying-almost looks like the style of the shirt. Very well made.
