Welcome to our auction for 11, yes, (ELEVEN) beautiful gold trimmed tall stemmed sherbet champagne goblets that were made by the Hocking Glass in their "CIRCLE" pattern from the 1930s! That are in fabulous condition with absolutely no chips, cracks or nicks!!! Some of the stems have some extremely light use marks, but they are truly very hard to see! The gold trim is brighter than pictures show! The gold trim is in very good condition on some of the stems and on some t is some wear & t! The glasses do have some of those wonderful and lovely Depression glass characteristics we have come to know of some straw/cooling marks, air bubbles in the glass, along with some very slight glass mould line roughness on some of the stems which are quite minimal on this set of 11! The sherbet champagne stems are actually considered to be tall sherbet cups in Hocking's Circle line and they will certainly make lovely sherbets to use alone, or with a saucer underneath for a truly elegant look!!! Also, they will make wonderful champagne and/or wine glasses that will hold 6 ozs. of your favorite beverage! They are basically all very close to same size of 4-3/4" tall, with about 4 glasses just measuring the same height, 5 that measure just a tiny bit shorter by 1/16" and two of the stems are little bit smaller by approx. 1/8". They have NOT been repaired, read more
