Auction is for 10 WW2 vintage sectional aeronautical charts. Full color maps are dated in 1945. Very good condition with original folds. Colors and graphics are sharp. A nice bit of American history. Maps are about 24" x 49". This lot includes the following maps:Glacier Park (Y-3) 1945, Portland (W-1) 1945, Cheyenne (U-4) 1945Fargo (X-5) 1944, Bellingham (Y-1) 1945, Butte (X-3) 1945Casper (V-4) 1945, Klamath Falls (V-1) 1944, Miles City (X-4) 1945Williston (Y-4) 1945, and Pocatello (V-3) 1945Many of the maps contains the notice ;"This document contains information affecting the national defense of the United staes within the meaning of the Espionage Act, 50 U.S.C.,31 and 32 as amended. Its transmission or the revelation of its contents in any manner to an unauthorized person is prohibited by law." Many of the maps are stapmed " RESTRICTED " Many of the maps contains :" Warning: Due to war conditions, lights,radio facilities and other aids to air navigation may be changed or discontinued without notice" What a great piece of World War II history!
