This is an old large hand-painted museum quality high-glazed Dutch Art Nouveau vase made by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda . The piece is fully marked with the model number 299/280 under the Lazarus Gate (PZH mark) and the words 'Zuid-Holland, Gouda' . Number 299 is also incised in the bottom. The artist initial is P which stands for C. van Pruissen . T is no year mark but high glazed pieces were made in the early years of production and so I believe the vase was manufactured between 1900 and 1915 . T is a vase with a similar pattern at the Museum de Moriaan in Gouda , Holland (see picture 6). The height of the piece is approximately 12.5'', the diameter is approximately 8'' at the widest point. The item is in very good original condition. T are no chips, nicks or cracks. T was a hole drilled in the bottom to wire it as a lamp. Later the bottom was restored. Also t is some age related crazing. (See pictures which are part of the description).
