German Wooden Statue I am not an antique dealer nor do I have much knowledge in this field, so I will not mislead with any assumptions in my description. I can only supply the following details about this item that was passed down to me from a relative: · The item is of German descent · This is a hand carved piece with very intricate details that I did my best to portray in the photos. · The statue stands just about exactly 12” tall · I know it is a minimum of 65 years old, but I do not know how far it dates back beyond that point. Again I can only speak to how long the item was in possession since there are no written markings that would indicate the actual age of the piece. The item was purchased overseas during World War II. This item will be packaged and shipped with care considering the delicate nature of the piece. The shipping price listed is for domestic shipping only. If you are interested in having this item shipped overseas, I will need to check the rates to advise you on an amount. Since I do not know the actual value of the item, I am starting the bidding at a low rate and will let the buyers dictate the price based on demand, as is the method for most items listed on ebay. I have placed no reserve on the bidding price.
