12 BW 3 1/2 X 5" Bob Taber Photos Krone German Crown Circus.

Undated, but look like mid-1960's, which would match the dates in the rest of the collection these came out of.

The backs of most of these are stamped with a photographer's stamp that identifies the photographer as Bob Taber of Riverside, California. Some have hand-written notes, such as the first one in the scans that says, "Krone-The Crown Circus of West Germany"

The condition of this item is excellent. .

I am selling these just as I found them. I will not be making copies, discs, etc. So when they are gone, they are gone.

Shipping is $2.00 for the first won auction and $1.00 for each additional won auction. I usually offer refunds, but with so many copies of circus photos being offered, I am afraid someone might buy a lot of these, copy them and then send them back to me for a refund. That wouldn't be fair to the other bidders or me. Sorry for the inconvenience.

General Information, history and provenance:

I have located another batch of 1960's era photos held by a collector and purchased those too. He went to circuses and shot his own images, but also traded extensively with other collectors. I believe most of these were printed in the 1960's, regardless of the date on them. That date would be the date of the original negative, but these photographers would make copies to trade or sell.

The auction titles and descriptions come directly from information supplied by the photo itself, or captions on the backs of the photos.

I am going to set the Buy-It-Now price at $4.00 per photo, which if you look at other similar items is very reasonable . This is a fantastic opportunity to own some vintage, authentic, original circus photography at a decent price.
