This auction features a set of 12 stereoscope/stereoview cards. Each are marked William H. Rau Publisher, 1902. Sold only by Universal View Co. Philadelphia, PA. This is a story about the happy couple named Mr & Mrs Turtledove until their new french cook comes to stay with them. This is the complete set numbered 1-12. Top Left-1. Mr. & Mrs. Turtledove's New French Cook. Top Right-2. You Sweet Thing. When Did You Arrive? Bottom Left-3. Now Don't Be So Shy. Bottom Right-4. Oh My! But You Are Lovely. Bottom Left-5. Sh! Sh! I Hear My Wife Coming. Bottom Left-6. Heavens! What Does She Mean? Top Left-7. Well, I Am Caught Sure Enough. Top Right-8. She Must Leave This House At Once. Bottom Left-9. Mr. Turtledove Tries To Get Out Of The Difficulty. Bottom Right-10. Mr. Turtledove Making Promises To Be Good. Top Left-11. Darling, I Love You More Than Ever. Top Right-12. Mr. & Mrs Turtledove's Next "French" Cook (I think that is Mr. Turtledove doing all the cooking now, what do you think?!) As for condition-cards 1 and 12 have some form of stain on them. Perhaps that can be cleaned off, but I honestly don't know how to do it or what to use. Other than that, the set is in overall very good to very good plus condition.
