This auction is for a stunning set of TWELVE vintage Madeira dinner napkins of soft pink linen and delicate hand applique` shadowwork. The large organdy / organdie corner inset panel features what appears to be deer / deers . A gorgeous monogram - initials " a McL c " is expertly hand embroidered above the shadow work scene. Beautifully finished with a delicate scallop hem. ........................ LOOK CLOSELY AT THE INCREDIBLE DEPTH AND QUALITY OF THE NEEDLEWORK! The generously sized vintage dinner napkins measure approximately 20" x 14" and eleven are in very good condition - however, the twelfth napkin does show slight tears in the sheer organdy inset panel (I didn't even notice it at first - but defintely t Will probably be used by host/hostess.) The napkins have been stored away for many years. The few small spots I did see on two of the napkins should easily disappear when laundered. Shipping for this item is $4.80 via USPS Priority envelope - (continental US only) - Insurance can and should be added for a small additional charge.
