And in celebration of the shoe, I present you with a SUPER RARE ONE ~ this all bisque baby sitting in a shoe has to be one of the finest, if not thee finest, of ALL Heubach creations ~ superior quality life-like bisque, deeply intaglio eyes highlighted by two white dots, nicely blushed cheeks, smiling open rosebud mouth, featd eyebrows (the kind one sees on dolls from the 1800's), charming dimples, and superior modelling throughout! He's even wearing the white dotted chemise with turquoise green bow that is common apparel for most of the piano babies made by Heubach. The tramp shoe is a combination of mint green & pea green and beige with a darker brown sole. Fully marked with the Gebruder Heubach sunburst mark incised on bottom front of shoe, late 19th century, HUMONGOUS 12.0" H x 11.0" L x 6.5" W (one of the largest ever seen!!!!!), excellent vintage condition with a repaired big toe on right foot (as seen in pics) & a dab of yellow paint on lock of hair hanging on forehead (easily removed
