12 OLD BLACK AMERICANA POST CARDS TEICH MAMMY RACHEL NR Offered with No Reserve and guaranteed to be "Real" are Twelve Black Americana Post Cards. Mostly politically incorrect they are considered to be part of history now. Included are: 1- Postally used shows white couple sitting on wooden slat bench with black stereo typical black boy throwing pair of dice. "Oh Boy! Can You Throw it!" 2-Kropp - Postally unused. Looks like a photograph more than a post card. Shows barefoot little Black Boy sitting on a fence with log cabin in background. "I'se waitin' fo' yo' down in sunny dixie." 3- Linen? feel Kropp - postally unused. Very politically incorrect. Shows little Pickanniny girl with stereotypical features, oversized big ruby red lips, bug eyes saying, "Honey, I'se Waitin' Fo' You " 4- Curt Teich- has creasing, postally unused. Again very politically incorrect. Shows little barefoot Black boy with really oversized red lips dressed in only a barrel which says "this end up." I'll be barreling it home soon-sure do miss you. 5- Postally used with one cent stamp. I think the mammy on this card is Rachel . Shows Rachel doing laundry with a clothes line in background. "Just a line to say we're thinking of you." 6- Teich postally used with 2 cent stamp. Fabulous Graphics! Shows a very plumpish mammy wearing a flowered dress and bandana and a little boy peeing. "Lawsy Me! What a Pe-Culiar little boy." Great card! 7- Postally used 1 cent stamp New Years Card? weak corner bottom right. Really gross card. Shows a stereotypical Black Man dressed in a Tuxedo ready to celebrate New Years? sitting on a potty his butt exposed, "I'm all set for the big blowout!" 8- Postally used 2 cent stamp. Wonderful color and graphics. Shows a little black girl carrying a life preserver and oar going on a moonlight boat trip. "I'm prepared in case you get fresh ad I have'ta git out and walk." 9-T. C. American Art- is this a Teich also? Postally unused. More like a photograph. Shows old black man with his mouth opening showing those pearly whites singing? as he plays his fiddle. Bottom reads, "A Happy Fiddler From Dixiland." and the number 30. Was this part of a set? 10- Postally used 1911 with a 1 cent stamp. Great color and graphics. Shows a big fat dressed up man (he feels embossed) and a skinny lady on a scale with a Black Porter with grotesque features. "This place is allright, I am gaining rapidly." 11-Postally unused, required one cent stamp. Series 672, 12 designs. Shows six black little girls (great faces). "A Cherry Line to be a sign of kind remembrance, friend of mine." Sweet card to send to a good buddy who collects. 12- Postally used 1909. My favorite one shows a grotesque Black Man eating a big slice of juicy watermelon. "I've been disturbing the piece." All these genuine Post Cards for one low price.
