Back in their high school days on Long Island, my uncle and Cathy Downs dated. He was killed in WW II when his plane went down, but for years Cathy continued to keep in touch with my grandmother. This is a collection of 12 snapshots Cathy Downs sent my grandmother from the set of My Darling Clementine , shot on location in Tombstone, Arizona.There are photographs of Cathy Downs (Clementine) Henry Fonda John Ford's brother Tim Holt Russell Simpson Jane Darwell The camp where they stayed and some background scenes Cathy has annotated most of the photos as you will see in the scans.The photos are in excellent condition. They measure 2 3/4" by 4 1/2" and I've included the remnants of the envelope in which they were mailed to my grandmother.Please email me with any questions.
