This is an auction for 12 original poppy patterned plates - yellow with green trim? - by Royal Doulton as well as one original bowl. The plates each measure 8.5 inches across and the bowl 9 inches across. Underneath each plate has written RN No. 597783 D3227 and the number 20 - Made in England Royal Doulton. The bowl is the same except it has the number 19 instead of 20. The plates look to be in excellent condition with some crazing on some - light and no evident chips. The bowl is the same but with one chip to one corner and I have taken a picture to refer to. I do not know how to grade these but please feel free to ask questions. These plates have been in the same family since originally purchased when? 1920s? I am unsure. Also feel free to make an offer! Shipping charges are tough but I will do whatever it takes to make sure they arrive safe and sound. If the winner is outside of US they MUST use Paypal because my bank will not handle foreign checks etc..
